In 2012, U.S. online advertising will bypass print

For the first time in U.S. history the cost of online advertising will exceed the cost of print advertisements in newspapers and magazines. 

Research company eMarketer released a forecast U.S. market advertising in the media for 5 years - until 2016. The cost of online advertising in the U.S. increased by 23.3% and in 2012 will make $ 39.5 billion. In 2014 the amount of these costs will increase to $ 52.8 billion, and in 2016 - $ 62 billion:
In 2012, the first time in the history of U.S. spending on online advertising will make $ 39.5 billion against $ 33.8 billion on advertising in printed newspapers and magazines. The cost of online advertising will continue to grow, while the cost of print advertising will fall each year:
The dynamics of television advertising budgets, however, will continue to grow, though not as high rates. It is expected that the difference between the cost of telereklamu and cost of online advertising will decline. But still, even in 2016, the volume of television advertising will be at $ 10 billion higher:
Overall in 2012 in the U.S. market is expected to increase advertising in the media by 6.7% to $ 169.5 billion in volume.
